I've been sucked into a pastel abyss of cute.  Save me from myself....  Just kidding.  My latest project involves trying to make Candyland more...fun for older kids and adults.  Sadly my mind got hijacked by the Candyland train and I decided to make new player pieces as well...oh well.  It is a good test for my new program, so I can't complain.  I warn you, though, my computer has a thing against real color...as in it doesn't believe in showing things that I'm working on in a color accurate way.  What I see as a pretty grape purple turns into this really weird red-violet-burgandy.

I have been doing art, just not computer styled art.  My computers have all been gremlin possessed up until this current one.  Fingers crossed that it stays gremlin free.  My Adobe Illustrator no longer works, but I have found some wonderful replacements to it for a fraction of the cost.  If you haven't already, check out Serif Drawplus and Serif Affinity Designer.  They are downright awesome.   That being said, I will be uploading some digital artsy stuff soon, mostly game elements and such, but they should at least look neat.

You have to question people's sanity, really you do.  Was surfing the net for FF7 news and such.  Came across an article about the supposed "remake" of the game.  I think it would be great, personally, but the FF team refuses to make it due to time consuming production and all that sort of stuff, if it came out with graphics better than FF13.  Simple solution, don't come out with the FF13 graphics, use graphics along the lines of FF10 or 12.  Most people wouldn't care as long as the game didn't have the clunky graphics of the original.  Shoot, I'd personally be happy if the graphics were on par with FF8 or 9.
